Privacy, in plain words
This site runs on as little of your data as we could manage. There are no accounts, no newsletter, no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels, and the booking itself happens on our partner's checkout rather than here.
Two things. If you switch the colour theme, that preference is kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. Google Analytics sets a measurement cookie so repeat visits are counted as one person rather than several. Neither is used for advertising, and clearing your browser data removes both.
The car search and the checkout run on our booking partner's system. The details you enter there, dates, name, contact and payment information, are processed by that partner and by the supplier you hire from, under the privacy terms shown on the booking screens. We never see or store your payment details, and we hold no copy of your reservation.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages lead to a booking. It tells us how many people searched, and from which page, never who they are. We do not run advertising pixels, we do not sell data, and there is no mailing list to join.
Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address and requested page) to keep the site running and abuse away. We do not use them to identify visitors.
We keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful for answering you, and we share it with no one. You can ask what we hold about you, which is usually nothing unless you have written to us, and ask for it to be deleted, at info@tenerifeairportcarhire.com.
